SND has been approved by the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Science and Technology as one of the first Export Processing Bases for Hi-tech products. It is also Class B Inland Port of the State Customs Administration. The total volume of Export and Import for SND in 2003 is 15.87 billion USD, which is 83% increase over 2002.
